A group of dedicated health professionals; Force Readiness and Health Assurance is organized into five focus areas each having an array of policies and programs. They are:
Individual Medical Readiness (IMR)

We work with our line partners to help ensure that the maximum number of military personnel are medically ready to deploy worldwide at any time in support of National Security requirements.
Reserve Health Readiness Program

We support the Reserve Components’ IMR programs by contracting for on-site medical and dental services worldwide to achieve improved medical and dental readiness. For more information please go to the Reserve Health Readiness Program site.
Global Health Surveillance

We support medical and biosurveillance initiatives that provide early warning of infectious disease outbreaks, hazardous environmental chemical or radiological exposures, or possible bioterrorist attacks.
Deployment Occupational and Environmental Health
We protect the health of the force by creating comprehensive deployment occupational and environmental health (OEH) surveillance policies to identify and characterize hazards; assess risks; and reduce or prevent exposures.
Human Performance Optimization

We provide oversight, coordination, policy for, and strategic guidance to advocate for sound Human Performance Optimization products and initiatives to support the DoD Warfighter.
